The Sawtooth Unlimited is an off road capable pop top camping trailer inspired by the Australian off road caravan market. I set out to design and build something very unique that was not available in the US. I have skipped using traditional US construction techniques and have opted for 100% composite body construction. Hand laminated foam core sandwich panels are used for the walls, roof and all interior partitions and bulkheads. These laminated panels are very lightweight while being extremely stiff and they have a decent R value as well. The steel frame is a mix of square and rectangular tube along with some angle in varying wall thicknesses.
